Presenting too much data using the wrong chart / graphical representation for visualization often leads to confusing and misleading data storytelling. Using sample size and grouping is a solution that could simplify the art of data visualization.

Is exaggeration okay? Numbers should not lie except in a hypothetical situation when dealing with data visualizations. A misleading data viz lacks quality and quantitative data is worthless when it lacks integrity.

An effective data visualization should establish two features of the data: Show data linkages that are too complicated to express in words. Make it easier for the audience to grasp the information offered and explore its implications.
